Library

The Holy Family library program seeks to foster a love of reading, to teach information literacy skills which will prepare our students for success in the 21^st century and to instill in each student a commitment to life-long learning.
The Holy Family Catholic School Library serves over 230 students in grades Pre-K through 8 with over 6,000 items in our collection. Students in grades K-5 come to the library once a week to hear stories, learn information literacy skills, check out books, gain library skills, and READ! Middle School students have an opportunity to check out books during their Language Arts class, lunch recess and after school.

The library is maintained by our school librarian, Tamara Beecroft (Mrs. B). Tamara has a Master’s Degree in Library Science and has previously founded school libraries and library programs for Pacific Northwest Academy and The International School.

Parents are able to earn fair share hours by shelving books and straightening shelves. Please email Ms. B if you are interested in volunteering.

Donations of new and gently-used books are welcome.
·         Donate from the Holy Family Library Wishlist on Amazon.com.
·         Donate a book from the library’s Scholastic Reading Club Wish List while buying books for yourself or friends and family. The library will earn additional Scholastic dollars for every purchase made! Use this link to create an account.
·         Donate gently used books from home. Less than 5 years old and hardcover are preferred.
